We’re thrilled to share a major milestone: AIxBlock has officially secured a €1.5 million innovation grant from the European Union, with an additional €61.5 million in pre-approved funding currently under multi-stage review to accelerate future phases of our decentralized AI infrastructure across Europe.
This is more than a funding announcement — it’s a strong signal that the future of AI infrastructure is decentralized, open, and community-powered.
Unlike traditional funding, this €1.5M grant is non-dilutive and comes with zero equity trade-off. Onboarding (KYC) is already underway, and the funding will deepen our technology footprint in the EU while maintaining full ownership and operational independence.
The additional pre-approved €61.5M in provisionally allocated public funding across two additional grants is currently under review as part of a multi-phase approval process. This pipeline is expected to support the buildout of a decentralized GPU network, leveraging underutilized data centers across the region to deliver scalable, eco-aligned infrastructure in future phases
This grant isn’t just for us — it’s for builders, developers, contributors, and compute providers who believe in open AI.
AIxBlock is the unified platform for end-to-end AI development and automation — built for AI teams, startups, and enterprises. With AIxBlock, you can:
At its core, AIxBlock is built to give ownership back to builders. No vendor lock-in. Just modular, affordable, decentralized AI infrastructure.
We're building AIxBlock as an open platform — and we’re inviting developers, researchers, validators, and contributors to help shape it. Contributors can earn long-term revenue and benefit sharing based on their contributions, tracked transparently over time.
From infrastructure providers to data validators, everyone who helps build the ecosystem is rewarded proportionately.
Blockchain isn’t just an add-on. It’s the foundation of how we coordinate contributions and rewards across the network:
This ensures that incentives stay aligned, trust is built in, and the system remains scalable.
AIxBlock’s roadmap emphasizes efficiency, sustainability, and sovereignty. By tapping into underutilized data centers across Europe, the platform plans to scale compute capacity without building entirely new infrastructure.
This approach not only reduces environmental impact but also strengthens Europe’s digital independence. The planned expansion, supported by the €61.5M funding pipeline, marks a major step toward building a decentralized GPU network rooted in Europe.
With EU support, we’re doubling down on infrastructure and community:
We’ve already onboarded 12,000+ users organically, including enterprise teams building large‑scale model workflows. That’s only possible because of the builders and contributors who believe in open, transparent AI infrastructure.
AIxBlock’s mission has been recognized across leading tech and Web3 outlets:

These features reflect a growing global consensus: decentralized AI infrastructure isn’t just viable — it’s essential.
This EU funding validates our technical roadmap and long-term positioning — and gives us the resources to move faster. It also provides the regulatory confidence that institutions and enterprises increasingly expect when adopting new infrastructure.
We're not just building tooling. We’re building the AI operating layer for Europe and beyond.
